Clearly, it is desirable to identify all steps before work begins. The purpose here is to describe a project plan for implementing an
e-commerce arm of a large retailer and to test-market a product in the electronic environment. Project Overview Ecommerce Web Site This is not
intended to be a fully functional ecommerce site, but rather one dedicated to the sale and distribution of a single product. It is a trial run of sorts, from
which the company seeks to identify unforeseen problems with designing and implementing a full ecommerce site. Though it includes many of the features of a fully functional site, a
true ecommerce Web site is much more complex than the one through which the new product will be test marketed. New Product Introduction
The Board of Directors of HUNS PLC has been considering launching a new product and wisely has decided to test market the product before committing full manufacturing and distribution efforts
into the untried product. There are some areas in which poor planning and slipped schedules are far too common, such as in IT-based projects. Fortunately, the HUNS project
