With that in mind the following paper examines, from a marriage perspective, 6 different terms. Those terms are love, communication, conflict, gender roles, career, and emotions. The paper offers a comparative relationship of the terms as they apply to marriage. Terms: Comparative Relationship In looking at the terms and offering up a comparative relationship of the terms as they apply to marriage, it is perhaps important to first define the terms to some extent. Love is rather self explanatory, although there are many different kinds of love, and many definitions of love. In relationship to marriage love means many things. For example a marriage can come to an end despite the fact that the two people may still love one another as the love has turned into less of a romantic or passionate or partner love and become more of a familial love. For the most part, however, marriages are considered sound when the two people love one another unconditionally. This means that no matter what, they love one another and that love is not selfish, in relationship to desiring something for oneself. Communication essentially means what it implies. It means talking and sharing things, sometimes small and sometimes big, and ultimately just opening up so that neither individual is existing without the other.
