there are increasing demands for employees who are proficient in Chinese and understand the culture. The ten year plan has the aim of placing the student is a senior position
where board level may be reached in the future. This will take a clear career plan and a vision of the future and the skills which will need to
be honed. The current skills; fluency in Chinese which has been used as a first language, not only able to speak it but also to write and types it, a
deep understanding of the culture, and a background that is multicultural, with Taiwanese heritage, but also the experience of five years in the United States leads to a truly international
perspective, creates a solid foundation for a career in international management. Add to this a bachelors degree in business administration, and the potential becomes greater. However the bachelors degree is
only the beginning of the ladder. The first step of the progression needs to take place prior to the graduation. The current range of skills are attractive, but there also
needs to be consideration given to the other aspects of job applicants that are sought. To gain some of the better placements the student needs to show that they are
well rounded and have good life and general knowledge and experience as well as the education. For this attention should be paid to ensuring that a job is obtained whilst
at university, if there are issues with work permits or a paid position cannot be found then even voluntary work will be of benefit. This undertaking will give employers an
