the mini series is his story, from the time that he is arrested, through the trial and his detention into a corrections facility. Episode 1 Blaine appears to have
it all, we see him leaving a well appointed home and entering his workplace; he is a partner in a firm of architects currently working on a large project to
build a shopping mall in the local town. He is meeting with clients in an office with has a glass window into the main office area. In the background three
police enter, show their badges to the secretary and appear to ask to see Blain, she tries to stand in their way, but they push past and go into the
office interrupting the meeting. The secretary ties to apologise, but as they shown their badges Blaine tells her not to worry, that he will deal with this. He tries to
ask them to wait, but they will not, instead then move towards him and arrest him for burglary, reading his Miranda rights in front of the clients, he tries to
assure them that he will sort this out and it is a mistake, he is cool and collected. As he is taken away they show the secretary and another partner
who has arrived on the scene a warrant to search Blaines office and will be seen to remove several boxes and a computer later in the episode. Blaine is
questioned at the police station, he chooses not to wait for a lawyer but protests his innocence from the beginning. He questioned and presented with evidence of his presence at
burglary scenes where electronic and jewellery have be stolen, in each case without any signs of entry or exit, but his DNA was found and fingerprints were found in the
