Punctuality is one of the characteristics of behavior in this culture. People do not like interruptions and they are usually avoided (Flat World Knowledge, 2010). There is a time for
everything in the monochromatic culture and time is divided into specific sequential events or activities. Time is more compartmentalized in this culture. In polychromatic time-oriented cultures, time is a more
flexible thing and that makes it more complicated (Flat World Knowledge, 2010). There could be many things planned for the same time period or activities may be combined, such as
dinner and a business meeting. People in a polychromatic time-oriented society are mostly concerned with what gets done rather than what time it gets done (Schein, 2010). Edgar Schein (2010)
