that will result in one individual winning a great sum of money. In the show Big Brother we see several individuals placed in a house. They are not allowed to
leave the house, except for the backyard, and are only given extra food, aside from peanut butter, jelly, and bread perhaps, through challenges. They all compete, and at the same
time vote other players out of the game. In the recent Survivor we watched as several individuals were plopped down in the middle of Africa and left to live off
of corn mush. They also had competitions to earn food, as well as a safe place in the game. The point is that we are made to believe that
these individuals have incredibly limited resources, are not allowed to speak to any family members, or even watch the news or hear what is going on in the world, though
they made an exception for the Big Brother players in the case of September 11th developments. We are made to believe that they are not given scripts of any kind,
not encouraged to behave in any particular manner, and are essentially left to their own devices. And, at the same time there are film crews following them around, watching every
action, recording every word. But, are these shows truly all they claim, or all they insinuate? In the following paper we investigate what is real and what is quite likely
created for the viewers. Reality Shows Now, as many argue, the reality shows are unscripted. And, according to research obtained, there appears to be nothing which claims that
