context. The absolute ubiquity of information technology in the modern world marks the beginning of a new epoch in which cultural, physical, and geographical barriers become less significant, thereby changing
the fundamental nature of business, education, politics, and even personal relationships. This paper will explore how such technology can be utilized in the context of education in order to present
data in a more effective manner. The presence of technology in our contemporary world is something often taken for granted. However, the actual statistical figures reveal the extent to
which technology has actually manifested itself. In the realm of education, information technology is now widely used for research in lieu of physical libraries, used for the processing, analysis, and
presentation of data, and also used for the management of the education process itself. For instance, studies show that 97% of teachers currently possess and operate at least one computer
in their classrooms, and as many as 94% of teachers rely heavily on computers to carry out fundamental tasks such as keeping track of grades and attendance records (Gray 2010).
By the same token, at least 96% of teachers report the use of word processing in their own courses as an essential feature of their method of instruction (Gray 2010).
In short, the foundation is present already for a widespread integration of information technology into education, simply because information technology is already tangentially utilized for so many organizational and personal
