of auto collision specialists there is a growing demand for this professional. Today finds more and more people holding onto their older cars rather than investing in new ones.
Because of this, when fender-benders occur, todays car owner is more likely to get their car fixed and keep driving it rather than trade it in for a newer
model. When considering this field as a possible career, the student will have to decide whether to pursue this training through a traditional college or through a technical school.
There are of course advantages and disadvantages to each, but some of these will be discussed in this paper. THE TRADITIONAL COLLEGE When training for a career specialty such
as auto collision specialist, the traditional college may not be the wisest choice. A traditional two-year or four-year institution will demand that a student take all of the basic
courses in order to graduate, including English, math, and sciences. While there is certainly nothing wrong with learning these subjects, it could be that these are not high priorities
for the student who wants to get through school to begin earning a living as quickly as possible. Additionally, these basic courses need to be paid for as
well, whether they actually help with the on-the-job work or not. Normally the traditional college is going to be much more expensive than a technical school as well. The
