questioning" (McCann, 2002), removes the one-sidedness so prevalent with conventional business thinking and instills a sense of empowerment throughout the entire workforce. It can readily be argued that the
workplace is not the same as it was just ten years ago, and it will not be the same ten years from now. In the ongoing quest to make
the workplace a more effective environment, it has also become an ever-changing one in relation to its modifying climate. One of the most identifiable changes as determined by team
learning has been in the overt modification of the primary focal point, which as been responsible for different values, assumptions and expectations. "The business world is changing at such
a pace that the solutions to problems are not found in books or journals, nor in the mind of the expert. They are found by team members themselves, who,
through the process of Team Learning, identify the key questions to be addressed. They then seek to use their resources to find the answers, often through trial and error"
