as to how they are suppose to regard Bickle, as they are "never told to love him or hate him," or even if his actions are "ethically right or wrong,"
as the movie does not offer answer to societys problems, as it focuses on "questions or unknowns" ("Mise-en -scene"). The films camera work focuses on Bickle, that is, the people
around him ("Mise-en-scene"). Due to this feature, viewers begin to observe that the same "people turn around him" ("Mise-en-scene"). However, Scorseses focus is always on the fact that Bickle is
alienated from society and lonely ("Mise-en-scene"). A notable feature of the films mise-en-scene is Bickles costumes and hairstyles, as he changes his dress and hairstyle to fit his mood
