I had to make several stops at various retail outlets for business reasons. All but one of the five locations I entered attempted to steer me toward whatever inventory
they happened to have on special that day; when I said no thanks because I was not there to buy anything, two of them continued their sales pitch by stating

between consumer and merchant according to the Do Not Call law; as such, they are within their rights to bypass restrictions other companies must adhere to because you had the
need to ask a question six months ago. This day I heard from one of my credit card companies whose representative wanted to know if I was interested in applying
for a new low-interest, no fee card they had just released. I told him no because I dont need anymore dings on my credit report, which they have to
do in order to verify my qualifications for said card. He persisted by saying this type of inquiry does not impact the credit rating that much, to which I
