site allows customers to order and have the item delivered or to find out if the item is available in their local store. The site also profiles Targets partners, such
as designers. By all accounts, their Web site is one of the most effective and lucrative in the industry. Target Corp, a discount retailer, is a very efficient and
effective organization. One of the reasons is the management of human resources. The organization places a great emphasis on training and follow-through. It has been named one of the top
organizations for personnel training in the country (Galvin, 2001). This has to do with the original founders belief that customers should be treated as personal friends; this premise is at
