full-page ad was found in USA Today. It doesnt really "say" anything, other than the headline. This is a clever ad in a couple of respects. For one thing, its
an update on the so-called "testimonial" ad. These are ads profiling others who have used a particular product or service - the idea behind testimonial ads is that it puts
in the readers/viewers mind that if other people are using it and are happy about it, then its a good product or service.
The other clever factor about this ad is that it specifically mentions "Tweets," ala Twitter. This suggests a couple of things. First, that people are "tweeting" about it, meaning theyre
talking about this particular gum (never mind that Trident Layers probably has a specific website geared toward this). The other aspect is
that its a specifically targeted ad, geared toward younger men and women, likely between the ages of 13 or so and 35. These are the individuals who are "plugged in"
with one another through Twitter. Its unlikely that an older audience would be interested in tweeting about gum. How would you classify
