while staying green. The Adelaide Hills in and of themselves are worth visiting - located at the southern edge of the
continent, the area consists of rolling vineyards, bushland, mountains and farmland (Adelaide Tourism (a), 2008). One of the favorite activities of a visit to this region is, understandably, hiking.
One of the most popular destinations for hiking is the Yurrebilla Trail, which is 54 km long and links Belair National Park to Black Hill Conservation Park (Adelaide Tourism (b),
2008). Best of all the Yurrebilla Trail, with its beautiful scenery and fascinating environmental facts, is an ideal tribute to an ecologically and culturally significant part of the area.
Furthermore, the Yurebilla Trail is part of the Trails SA network, which was developed to help people walk, cycle, horse ride, scuba or canoe across South Australia to take advantage
of the ecological wonders in the area (Adelaide Tourism (b), 2008). The majority of the activities in the Adelaide Hills, in
fact, have to do with hiking. Trails abound through the rugged and scenic wilderness, whether youre looking for a one- to two-hour hike, or something that encompasses and overnight stay
with camping accommodations. But there are other things to do in the area as well. Adelaide Hills Wilderness Lodge provides both
