In this paper, well take a detailed analysis of Tollgrade Communications, a telecommunications company that has been in existence for close to 15 years. In this paper, well examine the history and business of this company, its board and shareholder structure (based on annual report information), financial statements and how this particular business is seen by the public, based on stock prices. Well conclude this paper with a "buy or sell" analysis by putting together all of the information outlined. Well also try to determine that there is more to investing in a business than the movement on Wall Street. Company Overview History. Tollgrade Communications was founded in 1988 by R. Craig Allison, who retains leadership of the company today (Tollgrade (b), 2002).
