the form of the telephone, people wondered if this would change the face-to-face interaction; after all, why would people want to meet together if they could pick up a phone
and talk? Then the telephone became indispensible. Then technology pushed forward even further, giving way to faxes, e-mails and then social networks. Much
like the telephone, people wondered if e-mailing was taking away the personal touch. Some companies agree that e-mail may not be the best way to communicate, but they feel technology
can be used to help re-facilitate that face-to-face scenario, but in the virtual world. Some early pioneering companies are doing this through a concept known as microblogging. Microblogging is the
latest electronic interconnection between people; with the best-known among them being Twitter. Only time will tell if a Twitter-like blogging will occur in the corporate boardrooms and in the hallways

use Twitter to promote" articles. But in terms of using microblogging to unite an office or corporate staff, the literature is somewhat thin. Still, in this paper, we can find
enough information to put together a good study of microblogging, how its being used now, and its implications for down the road. What were finding now is that the technology
is still pretty new, but people are starting to gravitate to it out of curiosity. Whether the curiosity will lead to something more useful will remain to be seen.
