Before assessing this particular team, however, it might be helpful to determine why behavior analysis of teams is so important. Numerous studies have
focused on behavioral analysis and its impact on various teams in the workplace and classroom. Carr et al (2002) analyzed how the applied science of positive behavior support, or PBS,
helps both enhance the quality of life of group members, while minimizing problem behaviors. Xu and Thomas (2011) in the meantime, link teamwork and employee behavior to employee engagement.
Finally, we have an analysis presented by Montoya, Massey and Lockwood (2011), who point out that a behavioral analysis of virtual teams who
interact "across boundaries of space and time" (p. 451) is important in determining how effectively such team members will perform in such an environment.
The particular analysis presented in this paper doesnt have much to do with 3D work teams, but does have a great deal to do with team performance. In this
analysis, we examined conflict management styles, perceived quality of life, skills, and "intuition" types of scores. The result of all this analysis was a rather imbalanced view of our particular
team. For example, in examining the conflict management style of many of our team members, we find the styles all over the
place, with about half the members exhibiting an assertive/persuasive tendency toward conflict management, and half demonstrating an avoidance, or reactive, conflict style. Certainly its not necessary that everyone be on
