of this article is primarily summarizing many of the changes that have recently taken place on the Internet as it involves organizations or companies such as Google and Yahoo. It
is not necessarily a smooth or argumentative article for each paragraph simply offers up another consideration for the reader in relationship to what is happening on the Internet involving one
company or capability, or another. 2. Major Points Made by Author: One of the first major points made by the author is
that, "the ongoing security saga keeps churning in the background as information security breaches, thefts of personal data, and congressional hearings concerning increased database security legislation continue. Yes, we do
live in interesting times" (Partnerships, Personalization, and Personal Security Top the News, 2008). In this statement it is clear that the author of
the article believes that all of these changes in the Internet, all the possibilities, are a positive reality in technology and that it is perhaps exciting and worthy of note.
