and a well-designed service delivery system" (Jones and Jenkins, 2006, p. 220). Additionally, "strategic positioning, leveraging value over cost and integration of strategy and systems" serve to connect the four

A service concept refers to the provider or healthcare organization analyzing its mission specifically in terms of result relative to its stakeholders and how these results will be achieved. Service
concepts are "multidimensional...almost never unidimensional," addressing "outcomes, information, relationships, amenities, convenience and efficient treatment" (Jones and Jenkins, 2006, p. 221). Analysis of the service delivery system includes considering how "clinical
