argue that, although he is perhaps in his 30s or 40s, actually a man who fits into the stage seen by 0-5 year olds in that he is exploring the
world through his work. He is not necessarily set into any category in that he is settled in a particular job and as such making his way up some ladder
of respectability. At the same time, however, one could clearly argue that he fits in the category Mid-Career Full membership to crisis division, wherein he is faced with the crisis
of his work. But, we can also see that he has always been in somewhat of a crisis situation with work as he has tried one thing and then another.
As for Jacks father, a very important subject in his story, we see a man who is very clearly immersed in his work position, and one who fits into
Late-Career. We see Jacks father as a man on the verge of retirement age, but a man who is also so immersed in his work that he would likely be
one more added to the statistics of men who die shortly after retirement due to boredom and lack of focus. Jacks father is one of those men who seems to
have perfectly followed the Phenomenological Model Of Work and Culture, always keeping his life and his identity predominantly maintained by his work. As we can see, Jack is
not one who is rising any ladder as it relates to an organization. He is, however, rising a ladder that relates to his own personal satisfaction as he further defines
his identity. He finds that his work is a very important part of who he is, and thus an important part of his home life. He interacts with the students,
