who never quite mastered the Dewey Decimal system of card cataloging. Those with only a minimal knowledge of computer operation can easily maneuver around the librarys catalog, inputting searches
either by title, author or subject. Once the specific category or title is found, the items location is correlated with that which is displayed on the end of every
shelf, allowing for ease of retrieval in what might otherwise appear to be a sea of unending texts. As easy as it is to retrieve information from the brick and
mortar library, it is even simpler to do so on the Internet. Googling is a new catch phrase that merely means to look up something on the Internet with
a specific search engine called Google. The key to an effective Internet retrieval is the way in which the search string is arranged, which is the way to tell
Google how to find ones specific topic or piece of information. Indeed, people perform this task much better "when they understand all the components involved" (Padgett, 2005, p. 56).
For example, to locate general information on the best dog food brands, one would want to type it accordingly: best "dog food" brands. The quotes tell Google to
search for the phrase "dog food" instead of looking for the words singly, which would bring up far too many unrelated results. In addition to looking for that phrase,
