Essay / Research Paper Abstract
A 24 page paper presenting a strategic plan for a home health and hospice provider of nursing care. HHH stands poised to enter a phase of growth that was not envisioned at the time of its founding. All of health care is in flux and continues to evolve. Even though there have been many changes in recent years that have led to increased need for home health care, it is likely that changes occurring in the industry in the future will add to that need as well. These changes added to the fact that the first of the baby boomers only now are entering retirement age indicate that demand for the services that HHH offers will increase dramatically in less than five years' time. The company has the option of remaining as it is, but if it is to grow with the industry and be able to take advantage of increased demand for home health and hospice services, it must plan for future growth in the present time. An accompanying PowerPoint® presentation is available. Bibliography lists 19 sources.

performs cannot merely be delegated to an unqualified person or performed by an employee of a temporary agency. An additional consideration is that while HHH is profitable, it also
cannot afford a large or ongoing expenditure for this purpose. Though hiring additional qualified employees would be desirable, the costs of salary, payroll taxes and associated employment expenses is
beyond the current means of the company. The solution for HHH is seen to lie in greater automation of routine tasks including regulatory
reporting and administrative reporting so that the owner can have confidence that HHH is providing superlative patient care and meeting all regulatory requirements, while simultaneously increasing market share in the
local area and increasing revenues through organic growth. In general, HHH can expect business as well as negative factors to increase over the next ten years. At least
for the duration of the baby boomers entry into retirement, home health care services can be expected to experience high rates of growth. Following is a plan of strategy
