reselling of Skype in 2010. The Skype and eBay business models are evaluated and it is noted that while Skype and eBay have many similarities, their differences are paramount. Skype
and eBay was not a good match. In the context of the report, Skype is examined and compared and contrasted with a traditional telecommunications firm, Verizon. The analysis is
insightful in viewing Skype as the innovative star that it really is. The challenges ahead for Skype and eBay are explored independently. This paper concludes that both companies are now
