Anthony Burgess novel by the same title, that focuses on the characterization of Alex and his transformation in the midst of a complex and violent world. Kubrick utilizes a
number of significant technical elements, including the incorporation of sound as a major factor in shaping the mood of the work, to demonstrate the dichotomy between the futuristic violent world
and Alexs brainwashed state in which he abhors both sex and violence. Kubricks perspective, point of view and editing in this film attempt to provide a stark and constantly
