from the space program be re-directed to disaster relief? This paper is an attempt to explore those issues and provide some avenues for answers. BACKGROUND The physical exploration of
the universe - that area of unknown space which surrounds the earth is known as space exploration. Space exploration also involves the science, technologies and politics regarding any space
