of America is a vast melting pot of various races, religions and heritage that make it one of the most culturally diverse populations in the entire world. This blending
of such culture has been credited with bringing societies closer together and allowing people to understand and accept other lifestyles other than their own. However, this is no longer
true; while America may still house the greatest variety of peoples, it is no longer an educational or cultural melting pot. Since the time of the Jamestown settlement back
in 1607, America has held a steadfast tradition of cradling immigrants within its bosom as though they were its own citizens. These past four hundred years established such a
precedent of open heart/open door mentality, the melting pot is finally boiling over; in fact, it has been overflowing for several decades now.
Back when European migration was at its pinnacle, when it actually meant something positive to be of another race or culture living in the United States, the country was in
the frame of mind to accept those who chose America over their own homeland. It was a rich and rewarding time when cultures could come together and share their
