the people around her, what she does and how the sociological impact of being of two cultures impacts her life in general. WALK BOTH WAYS Pamela Tsosie is a
21 year-old woman who is half Native American and half Caucasian. She is married to a Native American and they have no children. Currently Pamela works in a
bank as a teller. Pamela finished high school but dropped out of college after only one year. Pamelas mother is full-blooded Native American and her father is Caucasian.
Pamela was mostly raised by her mother as her father left the family when she was only four years old. Pamela has no brothers or sisters. Pamelas mother
and all of her mothers family are a very loving and extended family who all live very close to one another. Pamelas family are very devout Christians and chose to
go The Jesus Way rather than The Indian Way when it came to religion. While Pamela is very strong in her religious upbringing, it does cause her some difficulties
at times, because on the Indian Reservation where some of her friends live Pamela is not considered an Indian. Neither does she feel she is considered Caucasian, since she
has the lovely olive skin and dark thick glossy hair so apparent in her Kiowa people. Some of Pamelas in-laws, especially the older ones, are entrenched in the Indian traditions.
They still walk the Indian Walk rather than the Jesus Walk. While this could make for some difficult situations, Pamela has no problem with this because she is
firm in her beliefs and yet understands that others have a right to their beliefs also. Pamelas husband is also a devout Christian so that helps Pamela immensely when they
