and his band were en route, they observed a police officer drag a man through the smashed window of an automobile ("Brit music"). It was also suggested that
the police had slammed the individuals head against the roof of the car prior to having been punched and kicked ("Brit music"). The incident occurred when the police were
trying to intercept a stolen automobile ("Brit music"). This is not unlike Rodney King, as that incident occurred after a car chase that likely increased the blood pressure of
several of the officers. After a car chase, police officers do report increased tension, but the picture presented here is rather disturbing. In this case, a global positioning system allowed
officers to easily find the vehicle ("Brit music"). They knew it was a stolen car. In fact, the police did not have to actually chase down the vehicle as the
GPS allowed them to stop the car in its tracks with the use of a signal that was able to deactivate the engine ("Brit music"). After police stopped
the car, a man in his twenties had been arrested ("Brit music"). The article reports that the man was arraigned but that the police denied any wrongdoing and that no
complaints were made ("Brit music"). It is rather interesting and indicative of a closed society. A man from another country witnesses police brutality, but then it is apparently covered up
and no one says a word. In the United States for example, Rodney King became the poster child for the cause of eradicating police brutality, but in this incident, there
