politicians. There were politicians and people on either side, but slavery persisted for a time. Down the road, the sales would be freed and the flag in America could fly
high as it represented a people that was totally free. Of course, that is not the whole story of slavery. That is only perhaps an American story. Slavery is an
old institution, and persists to this day. It is not merely representative of what went on during early times, or the period between the 1600s and 1800s, but rather one
that began in Ancient civilizations. In writing about this topic, a student may select a thesis on this subject by examining the facts of slavery from its inception. Many questions
