argue one or another book is the most significant piece of literature in our time. In the following paper we discuss three separate books, all of which have been heralded
as significant post WWII literary pieces. The paper first discusses Ralph Ellisons "Invisible Man," which is considered by many to be the most significant post WWII work. The paper examines
this book and then presents a discussion of two other books which can equal, if not surpass, Ellisons book. These works are Don Delillos "White Noise" and Maxine Hong Kingstons
