to improved cognitive functioning or decreased cognitive functioning. What we do know about antidepressants is that they can make a person lethargic and drowsy, which would leave a student unable
to learn at even a moderate level. 2. Painkillers Painkillers suppress pain and since pain signals are in the brain, it can be concluded that pain killers could impair
learning. Different painkillers have different side effects, some have no negative side effects when used as prescribed. Obviously, narcotic painkillers would have more negative side effects on learning than non-narcotic
