there are many who argue that without offering healthcare to everyone the nation is asking for more troubles down the line as preventive medicine is not being adequately practiced. It
is a very complicated and diverse topic that has many people frustrated, angered, and hopeful. The following paper examines whether or not everyone should have healthcare. Should Everyone
Have Healthcare? One of the most important things to understand when looking at this topic is that, in all honesty, everyone in the United States does have healthcare. They may
not have insurance, but they are entitled to healthcare. One author, in illustrating this, indicates how, "It is federal law that a hospital emergency room cannot turn you away" no
matter your economic status (Everyone Has Healthcare, Not Everyone has Health Insurance). There are programs for people who are considered impoverished, and everyone over the age of 65 can get
medical insurance from the government. But, in reality many people who make too much to get any low income insurance, are not covered and just because an emergency room cannot
turn a person away does not mean that they have healthcare readily available because they cannot afford to pay for services. As such the focus of the paper is regarding
health insurance/care. There are many who argue that if the government provides healthcare to everyone then the standards of the healthcare services will be reduced: "I have traveled in
