Essay / Research Paper Abstract
A 3 page paper arguing that self-employment is preferable to working for someone else. The self-employed typically make less over a lifetime than do those who work for others, and they are notorious for not having sufficient retirement funds. However, the self-employed also have the ability to define precisely what they do for a living and how they will approach their work. They have the ability to be self-reliant, to set their own course and to enjoy the psychological rewards of independence. They have the potential of making much more money than if they work for someone else. Overall, self-employment is the preferred means of earning a living. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
