freedom for those who have heretofore been otherwise shackled by the traditional method of monitoring. Alzheimers and diabetes are just two of myriad
diseases and conditions that modern medical sensors serve to help in situations beyond the individuals control. Utilizing medical sensors, Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and wireless transmitters, Alzheimers patients
who wander off are able to be tracked, located and brought back to safety (Hein, 2003). The GPS receiver is responsible for establishing position by way of triangulation, a
