found in Hebrews 11. None of Gods leaders were without sin, including Abraham, Moses, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, etc. David committed adultery with Bathsheba and even arranged for her husbands death.
Yet, they all had the same type of faith. If the accounts of Samson are read carefully, one concludes that it was not Samsons sexual desire for the women
that led to him revealing information, it was his vulnerability to being manipulated by women who cried, said things like, you dont love me and other such verbal manipulative statements.
Samson was blessed from the beginning. God had a clear plan for him. Manoa, a man of Zorah, had a wife who was childless. An angel appeared to her,
gave her instructions and told her she would give birth to a son who would be a Nazarite, which means the boy was set apart from birth for God (Judges
13:2-7). The boy was Samson and as a Nazarite, he was not to cut his hair. His unusual strength came from the Holy Spirit (Cheung, 2001). Samsons first violation
of the law was marrying a Philistine. He wen to Timnah, saw a woman, and told his parents to get that woman for him to marry. His parents tried to
discourage this violation but he was insistent (Judges 14). Samson was disobeying his parents will and Gods will (Deuteronomy 7:3-4). God commanded the Israelites not to intermarry with pagans. All
versions of the Bible are very clear. There should be no intermarrying with the Philistines. This ideal is found in numerous other Books and verses. For instance, Genesis 24:3 states
