is similar to any other that sells merchandise online. Sams Club is a discount store like Costco that provides deep discounts and specialized items to club members. When one logs
onto the site, the user is greeted with a screen that provides a number of different types of merchandise. On top, there is a search area where one can "select
a club." The user puts in his or her zip code and searches for the nearest brick and mortar store. These clubs do business primarily in local communities, but they
do run Internet specials as well. Sams Club is no exception. There are membership options that may be examined by clicking on the top left link. Once there, one
will find an array of membership choices and the ability to join online. Shopping is rather simple at the site. One only needs to click on an area of choice
such as Appliances, Electronics, Outdoor, Office Products, Jewelry or Furniture. There are two other options which are Click n Pull and See All where the shopper is privy to a
list of a number of other categories aside from the ones already mentioned. Placing ones cursor on top of the Services button will reveal different offerings such as health care,
optical, and auctions. The auction area for example is something much like eBay where one is able to bid on merchandise. There seems to be a connection to eBay as
there is a notation that the site is "enabled by eBay technology" ("Sams Club," 2009). In summary, the web site is a rather ordinary one, but is replete with the
