are met at our company. The article entitled "Co-Creating Unique Value with Customers," written by Stan Abraham, was printed in the prestigious journal Strategy & Leadership in 2004. In this
article, a new model for value creation is shared and this goes to a shift in focus from the management of resources to the management of the customer experience. This
has vast implications for our Human Resources Department, but it is also something that is relevant on a variety of fronts. I would like to relay some information to
come from the article. In the context of the piece, Best Buy is used as an example. The example suggests that while the company would do well at the start,
it would later flounder because the corporate culture had changed. Something had been lost. The organization had grown, but there was something not right that was causing the firm to
do worse than it had initially. However, Best Buy would rebound and according to the article, this is because the firm would work to get that entrepreneurial spirit back without
compromising managerial excellence. It seems that for the most part, the positive change would come from a "hands on" management approach. Managers would involve themselves at every level of the
company and provide their employees with individual and comprehensive feedback. Another example provided by the article is about Wolfgang Puck Worldwide. These examples are used to relay some suggestions that
