travel pick up again. Yet, the industry faces other challenges. As new food related illnesses like bird flu and mad cow disease crop up, more effort needs to be made
to make sure that facilities are up to par. This means that management is knowledgeable about current health concerns and also that they implement state of the art safety
devices to protect their guests. Sanitation in restaurants and safety in tourism are important issues. This report takes a look at a series of articles that addresses food safety as
well as larger safety concerns such as privacy and the avoidance of physical harm. Many things can happen while people travel. Although many travelers are on the road due to
business issues, travel is often engaged in for recreation. Thus, although safety is a concern, it is also very important not to alarm the passengers, which is why discretion is
often used in disseminating information to the public at large. People pay a lot of money for their vacations and they want to enjoy themselves. They do not want to
