Also included in this exploitation was that of the human being himself. Much of Germanys workforce was generated and supplemented by the forced labor of the Jewish prisoners held in
the death camps. Hitlers final solution to the Jewish problem was determined at the Wannsee Protocol conference. The Jewish problem was addressed and locations for concentration camps were determined.
The plan would be to trap Jews in ghettos, then collect them for deportation to the concentration camps where they would eventually be executed. Gerald Fleming in his book, Hitler
and the Final Solution, states that Hitler was primarily the agent responsible for the mass murder of over six million Jews. "Once I really am in power, my first
and foremost task will be the annihilation of the Jews (Fleming, 1987, pg. 17). It can also be said that the
Treaty of Versailles was a thorn in most Germans sides. This treaty effectively brought about the conclusion of the First World War. What really irritated the Germans was that this
treaty was drawn up without any input from them. The treaty was very one sided and called for massive reduction and elimination of all types of war making capabilities, loss
of land, and on top of it all, they were asked to sign a war guilt clause which stated that the Germans accepted all the guilt and responsibility for having
caused the war and as such were liable for the damages caused to the allies during the war(Eubank). It is not hard to believe, then, that the German people would
be willing to embrace whatever ideology that would vindicate them and restore some of what had been lost through the Versailles Treaty. Hitler
