United States. During the dawn of the country, President John Adams (the nations second president) was succeeded later by his son, John Quincy Adams (the fourth president).
These days, were seeing history repeat itself. In 1988, George H.W. Bush, President Ronald Reagans vice president, won the presidency, only to lose it in
1992 to Bill Clinton. Eight years later, the Bush family was in the Oval Office again, when Bush seniors son, George W. Bush, became president. The question comes up time
and again, however - is Bush Juniors administration similar to his fathers? On the surface, this could be the case. Both
Bushes attended school at Andover and Yale, both were involved in the oil business and both were involved in public service before running for the presidency (Anonymous, 2003). In addition,
both Bushes presided over Iraq-based wars; Bush Senior and U.S. troops led a U.N. coalition in 1991 to free Kuwait from the clutches of Iraqs leader, Saddam Hussein. Meanwhile, Bush
Junior found his way back into Iraq again, this time to oust Saddam because of potential threats of terrorism. Additionally, both Bushes
have presided over rough economies. The poor economy, in fact, cost Bush Senior the 1992 election. According to experts, Bush Junior is working hard to make sure the same thing
doesnt happen to him (Anonymous, 2003). Yet interestingly enough, Bush Seniors presidency saw the creation of 2.5 million new jobs; to date, Bush Junior has presided over the loss of
