to meet the growing needs of society and the marketplace. However, there is an inherent danger in focusing only on the academic advancement of the student to the exclusion of
moral and social elements. Therefore, the schools in the future must embrace a curriculum which addresses both a sociological approach as well as a technological one. In a perfect world
education would be valued above box office ratings, and the caliber and quality of the programs would gather more attention than the state lottery. But, this isnt a perfect world
and there are no perfect schools systems. However, it can be stated that there are some schools that have made great advances toward this goal over the last few years.
So, perhaps in the future, it may be that there is a reversal of perspectives where education is concerned. All in all, it can be concluded that there are a
plethora of problems that need to be addressed along the way, including location, admission standards, curriculum, staff, assessment tools, and finances. In addition to the traditional matters that teachers have
had to face in recent years, the Net generation (as those children are now being coined) are those who have grown up with computer access at their fingertips since they
were infants. To reflect this savvy technological knowledge, teachers and theorists have determined yet another need for change. Also, the teacher just entering the field needs to keep in mind
the fundamental changes that have occurred within the social structure of the family unit itself. With one out of two marriages ending, the emotional fallout from such a disruption, coupled
