the report which is compiled utilizing International Financial Accounting Standards (IFAS) it is possible to see the way in which different events has impacted on the company, and in turn
the way in which company performance and market conditions have impacted on the share price. Looking at the performance of the company over the last six years, starting the financial
accounts for 2006, it is possible to see that the company has had mixed results. For the majority of years there has been growth, but it is possible to see
both positive and negative influences in the company results. For example, the way in which issues such as the global recession, as well as concern over the industry which emerged
following BPs problems with the Deepwater Horizon oil rig disaster are reflected in the share price, and the recession had a significant impact on the financial performance of the company.
However, it is also possible to see the way in which the increasing oil prices are having a beneficial effect for the company, providing higher potential margins and helping the
organization to recover from the global recession. Looking first at the revenue over the last five years it is possible to see the difficulties that the company is phase,
