and Area 51 is actually located in Nevada. At the same time they are two regions that seem linked and as such are often associated with one another, with the
assumption that they are the same place. They are the regions that are most directly linked with possible alien incidents, and they are also areas that seem to be clouded
in deep mystery. The following paper examines Roswell and Area 51, arguing that there is obviously a cover-up of some truth in relationship to what the areas are, and the
history of any involvement in the areas. Roswell and Area 51 In better understanding the relationship between Roswell and Area 51 the history of both is presented. The
year was 1947 when a rancher near Roswell "discovered a large amount of unusual debris scattered over his ranch, about 75 miles northwest of Roswell. Neighbors told him about the
flying disk phenomenon and suggested he go to Roswell to report his find" (The Virginian-Pilot, 2006). The Air Force was contacted and the commander of the Roswell base sent out
two intelligence officers who investigated and gathered some of the debris, some of which was "flown to Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio, home of the Army Air Forces aeronautical research
labs" (The Virginian-Pilot, 2006). This is apparently the most well documented pieces of information, information which merely addresses the report of debris and the notation of debris being taken.
However, from there controversy abounds. One author notes that there have been many, different, official reports and "revised official Air Force" explanations concerning the events in Roswell (Neimark, 1997). But,
at the same time it was also at around this time the CIA apparently concluded that, "that UFO groups needed to be watched" (Hansen, 1995). In essence, the Roswell realities,
