important to recognize that the formal study of music should in no way detract from the personal enjoyment of listening to music. However, in order to make the most of
formal study, it is sometimes essential to explore musical forms that offer a great deal of technical depth and diversity, such as concert music. Much resistance from students is also
met on these grounds, as concert music is not often their favorite type of music. Nevertheless, by exploring this form of music in depth, it becomes possible for students to
learn more about their particular favorite forms of music, whatever that might be. This paragraph helps the student introduce the work to be analyzed in this paper. In order to
