is now in its eight edition and may be argued as a highly comprehensive work that contains a great deal of information which may only be replaced by numerous other
books rather than a single or couple of works. It is a book found on many desks in academia and in the comical environment, but it is often criticized for
being dry and boring. However, the content may be argued as making the book a very worthwhile purchase. The book may be difficult to read due to the straightforward
nature, but this alone is not unusual for an academic book which is useful as a reference book. We can argue the thesis this is a highly comprehensive and useful
book which focuses on the aspects of control, but there is still room for improvement. The approach of the book is to give a good brad and in-depth overview
of the theories and approaches that can be used in different aspects of product management. The book gives a good overview and then looks at different components of project management
in depth. With this scope it is unsurprising that the book is nearly a thousand pages in length. Kerzner argues that the project management approach a relatively modern idea
and states he sees it as "characterized by methods of restructuring management and adapting special management techniques, with the purpose of obtaining better control and use of existing resources" (Kerzner,
2003; 2). Project managing is explored for its use in a range of diverse industries, rather than only on areas such as the US Department of Defense, as was the
