emotional and non emotional words were recalled. The data can be used as a whole to examine the findings2. Looking at both groups there does appear to be support
for the idea that there is a higher level of recall for the emotional rather than the non emotional words. This can
be considered by looking at a scatter graph for the entire sample, where there is a plotting of the number of emotional words remembers against the number of the non
emotional words, This is shown in figures 1 Figure 1 Emotional v. non-emotional words The skew towards more emotional words bring recalled is apparent, but it is not the
case in the entire sample, there are several members of the sample that appear reported more non emotional rather emotional words. Therefore, although interesting this is not sufficiently conclusive
