1996). The greatest levels of success in implementing change within companies has come from taking a tiered approach to implementation and focusing on necessary training, a cooperative role
for employees in the process of change and demonstrating the ability of managers to take a proactive role in the process of change. The successes of companies like Philips
Electronics, which went through an enormous company transformation, occurred because of the willingness of management to take an active role in determining employees roles and explaining the process of change
(Strebel, 1996). It should be noted that employee resistance can occur on my different levels. It can be as simple as employee unwillingness to implement protocol changes
to the unwillingness of employees to accept managerial changes or necessary relocation processes. The current literature suggests that there is a correlation between the positive measures, or proactive approaches,
of management in the successful reduction of employee resistance (Miller et al, 1994). II. What is Resistance Because it is evident that
the successful transformation of companies or systems of management are directly reliant on increasing worker willingness to accept the process of change (Miller et al, 1994), it is necessary that
