Part A Introduction Religion serves the
basis for considerable controversy in the contemporary world. This controversy is rooted in the fact that those of one religion typically view all of those outside their religion as
being wrong and in need of correction. It is easy to mentally convince oneself to believe that all of this controversy is for naught because in effect all religions
teach the same thing. This belief, in fact, can be rigorously defended by the more argumentative member of our society. Others, however, prefer to hold such beliefs more
closely to their soul yet they take the precept of religious perennialism for granted. With just a little effort researching the belief, however, it can be easily discounted.
There is no perennialism in religion! The purpose of this paper will be to do evaluate perennialism qualitatively through social research.
