aware there will be an employee joining us on Monday from the Toronto office. This employee has been with the company for several years but has encountered some difficulties in
handling professional relationships according to the home office. This memo should help detail the strategies we will utilize to integrate this employee our department and hopefully utilize his sales strengths
while minimizing any inter-department moral problems as the transition is made. I. Integration Strategies * On Monday morning there will be an informal
tea and donut meeting in the cafeteria in which Tom will be introduced to other members of the department. * We will need to volunteers from the department.
One will have the new employee sit with him for the first three weeks while he learns the procedures and protocol we use when problems arise. The other will serve
as a mentor to him in the event he begins to have a problem. He will be able to go to this mentor and the mentor will mediate the situation
