was the King of France and was the grandson of King Louis XV. Many people know of him due to his connection with Marie Antoinette or due to his apparent
lack of ability as a good leader. His life ended in front of his people as he was executed. The following paper presents a reflective look at the life and
actions of Louis XVI. Reflections on King Louis XVI It is, at first, interesting to note that Louis father was going
to be King but he died of tuberculosis when he was only 36 and then Louis mother also died shortly thereafter from the same condition which essentially left Louis and
his siblings on their own when Louis was only 13 (Bastille-day.com, 2010). They were, however, raised by their grandmother for only a year before she too died. Louis had many
siblings and was the oldest and so this is why he was destined to become the King of France. It also appears as though he was raised by his grandfather
who really had very little to do with educating the boy: "He was probably a little too shy, too irresponsible and mostly interested in hunting and locks. His grandfather was
